After leading a lengthy pitch process, I helped persuade NFL Network to embrace a flatter, more paired-down look that would help them meet the challenges of today's multi-platform environment.
My argument was that they could capture the energy and emotion of football—the human aspects of the game—without shiny chrome and giant robots. Instead, we embraced a bold use of team colors, sharper animation and a content-forward editorial strategy.
